Hm, it variates a lot, depend on the profession, like a medic can earn like, 25k reais, it's like 14k dolars. But a high school teacher earn like, 2k reais, it's like 1100 dolares in a month.

We pay bills for everything like, water it's like 120 reais, light 80 reais.

But if we want to buy a really good car like a tucson hyundai it's like 70k reais, we pay like 60% taxes for one car. And a good house it's like 450k reais in a good neighborhood.

Btw, I want to study russian in St Petersburg.
BRICS bro.

Hm, not so much, just at beaches in summer time, there are a LOT of argentineans in Santa Catarina State in beche, they like it a lot. And Uruguaians just near the border or here in Porto Alegre for some work. And yes, it's really near the beaches, just like 120km the the beaches, I went there yesterday and I'm already back.

Yeah, I really like russian language, it's like so awesome and beautiful.
Oh, awesome! How good is to live there? And How cold is there now?

Are you already started to teach it?
>How good is to live there?
Pretty good for me. This is a second capital of Russia.
Here easy to find work, if you want. But for high salary, you should be good specialist.
I'm living in the Kalininsky District, here much of green. Living in normal house nearby subway, with good neighbors who cares about our house.
In many ways, the quality of life depends of your neighbors.
Minuses it's relatively high prices and a bad weather in the spring and autumn (many rains, dirt, no sun).
>How cold is there now?
3°C now. It's pretty... Warm, lol. For winter.
I think it's will be sort of unusual for Brazilian, but we say "Siberian man this is not man who loved cold, this is man who have a good clothes."
>Merry Christmas!

Hello
I'm so sorry for the epic late msg.
I was studying in Germany for 2 months.
And I meet some really amazing people from Russia, and I fell in love with your country now.
I really thinking of study Medicine in Moscow by a program that we have here with Russia.
I meet a special girl in Munich. :3
And she teached me a lot of things about Russia and Russian language.
Now bak to the questions.
>>Do you have higher wages? Or, in Uruguay problem with unemployment?
Yes, here in my state we have the higher wages in Brazil. And how About Moscow?
>>Just sunbathing, swimming, or something else?
We have a beach house there, so we needed to go there and see how it was, and to swimm as well.
And do you have beautiful beaches in Russia? To swimm?
My friend told me that she have never saw a beach, I was so surprised about that... but she told me that she can swimm in a river near her sommer house.
And the german winter was not so different as our winter here in South Brazil, like -5 to -8.
Just one or two weeks that was like -18C, and it was very cold with wind and snow.
And how is your Christmas? My friend told me that the Santa Claus there is called like, Father Christmas.
And that you change gifts in First January, right?

Lol. I'm not sure what this is best idea. We believe that our medical education is pretty much outdated and need to reform it. Although I am not a medic, so cannot be sure.
>she teached me a lot of things about Russia and Russian language.
I translated it to Russian and so lol'd now. Vulgar thinking in my mind today.
>And how About Moscow?
Champion by the salaries and cost of living in Russia. People are coming here from all over the CIS.
And the unreal price of apartments. By selling one-bedroom apartment in Moscow, you can buy a three-room apartment in Berlin.
>We have a beach house there
Great. Is it big?
>And do you have beautiful beaches in Russia?
I find it difficult to compare with Brazilian beaches, lol.
In my region it's looking more like this.
>My friend told me that she have never saw a beach
This is possible. Most people live far from the sea, in the depths of the continent. We are a nation of rivers and lakes.
To the sea, usually have access the residents of Vladivostok, the Black Sea coast and St. Petersburg. But even here, people prefer the lakes.
Petersburg and Munich in February 2012
Not so big difference. But almost without snow.

>Santa Claus there is called like, Father Christmas.
In Russia it's "Grandfather Frost". And in Russia he is more associated with winters, frosts and new year. Not with Christmas.

Saint Petersburg?
>Btw, do you have any holidays/traditions devoted to the changing of seasons? Or people don't care much?
No really, because the "cold" part of Brazil is the smallest region, here in South. So people up in north don't care much about seasons because for them it's almost always sommer. lol
>how is your Session and Exams?
Are you guys in russia with alot exams in university right now? I'm asking that because my friend didn't answer me yet in emails... I'm with that bad feel about this.
Btw, people in Russia are xenophobic? And when I was in Munich people asked me if I was russian 3 times. lol I guess because I was with my friend. So I'm kind happy about this.

>Yep, one month studying german, and the other one traveling.
Do you lived in a hostel? A separate room?
>Explain me more about this please.
Well...
1. As far as I know (i can be wrong) Russian diplomas are used only on the territory of the CIS.
2. Teaching in the U.S. is much better. I guess that in Germany teach better too. We have a pretty old methods of learning. Teachers gives you a pretty good knowledge, but you must to learning a lot of useless subjects. We call it "the peculiarities of Russian education" to give students a lot of subjects, "they should have a broad outlook." But mostly this subjects useless in your profession.
3. Our hostels as usually really bad. Very old and you must live for a few people in the room.
But as far as I know the education in our universities is really cheap. For free, if you are Russian, lol.
>What do you mean?
On Russian "Language" and "Tongue" is a one word. So...
>How much?
Compared to what? That's pretty expensive.
~4,600-5,000$ per sq.m in an old house, one room apartment on the outskirts of the city.
Rent is pretty expensive too.
From 530$ in a month, one room apartment.
>Saint Petersburg?
Yep. Nothern-West region.
Oh wait... I forgotten pic lol.
>Are you guys in russia with alot exams in university right now?
Not right now but last days of December-January or January-Febrialy yes.
>Btw, people in Russia are xenophobic?
In general, I can not say that.
Especially in big cities have a lot of different people. We have our own "nationalists" (but I never seen them, lol). Naturally people share different nationalities, but it's not as "one nationality above another." It's more like stereotypes. If you are a German, then everyone will think you're disciplined. If a Frenchman, you are romantic. If a Brazilian, you are a fan of carnivals, lol. There are bad stereotypes Caucasian - uneducated and aggressive, Tajik - a stupid and lazy. And than less educated man, than more he believed in these stereotypes.
Yesterday I looked at the price of bananas in Brazil. And I saw the price of 4 BRL per kg in one of the provinces. I am shocked. Why in a country with 11 months of summer in the year, the bananas can be more expensive than mine bananas, with tons of snow under my window? This is some special bananas, or what?

And I would be pleased if you could tell me what does russians think of finns other that we are slow :D

Saint Petersburg State Institute of Technology
Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University
>it is economics too and it does not have anything to do with my education
Yes. Our universities have many faculties - Humanitarian universities have some of technical faculties. And technical universities have some of humanities faculties. But lvl of education on such faculties is pretty low. And i guess it's not so good idea.
If you want to receive technical education - go to a technical university. If you want to humanitarian - go to the humanitarian university.

>price of bananas in brazil
>brazil, bananas
I see what you did there again. I don't know where you looked, but the normal price of banana
in South Brazil it's like R$ 2, it's like 1 euro.
In São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, they have a LOT of bananas.
One time I was traveling from South to São Paulo by car, and all I could see in plantations there was bananas. lol
>country with 11 months of summer
Just in north region is summer all time, like in Fortaleza city it's ALWAYS 28°C.
In south we kind have a 4 months of "cold" winter (our cold it's like -2°C at night and 2 or 3 on midday).
>This is some special bananas, or what?
Yeah, there are some special bananas that are a little bit more expensive.
>If a Brazilian, you are a fan of carnivals, lol
So people would not be mad at me?
And I'm austrian descendent, so people would not care at all, right?
